Ippoh’s Hong Kong branch has been open at Aberdeen Street in Central since July 2, 2014. It is a cosy restaurant with an ８-seat counter and ４ tables. We are fortunate to have many guests from Hong Kong who have patronised our main restaurant at Higobashi in Osaka, Japan – it made up our mind to open a new branch in Hong Kong to introduce our hospitality and cuisine. The oval-shaped counter is designed to bring our tempura chef and guests closer, creating a pleasant atmosphere amid the live cooking and Hong Kong gastronomists.

Ingredients are flown in daily from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market in the early morning and delivered to our restaurant in Hong Kong early evening. Some fresh produce such as seafood or vegetables are carefully chosen from a market in Hong Kong.
